Most quality rash vests are made from UV-protective fabric that blocks harmful ultraviolet rays before they reach your skin. A UPF 50+ rash vest provides excellent protection from direct sunlight and UV rays reflected off the water's surface.
Do Rash Guards Keep You Warm?
A common question is whether rash vests keep you warm.
They do help protect against cool winds, sea breezes, and changing weather conditions while you're active. Standard rash vests aren't designed to replace a wetsuit and won't provide significant insulation in cold water.

How to care for your Rash Guard.
To make your Rash Guard last longer, thoroughly rinse it off after each use and get rid of any chlorine/salt residue.
Please note that contact with rough surfaces and velcro fasteners should be avoided since they can pull out the white fibers in the fabric, damaging the rash guard’s appearance.
